About Out2Enroll

Be out. Be healthy.

So, who is Out2Enroll and why are you doing this?

Who are we? Quite simply, we are a coalition of organizations who want to help lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people stay healthy by making sure that one of the major benefits of the Affordable Care Act – access to affordable, comprehensive health insurance coverage – reaches LGBT communities. We are working with national, state, regional, and local partners to get the word out, help LGBT community members separate fact from fiction, and provide tools to help LGBT people make well-informed decisions and enroll in coverage that works for them.

Steering Committee

Out2Enroll is administered by a steering committee consisting of representatives from the Sellers Dorsey Foundation, the Center for American Progress, and the Federal Agencies Project. If you have any questions for us, email us at info@out2enroll.org.

Advisory Committee

LGBT communities are diverse. We live in every corner of the country, come from all kinds of backgrounds, and have had different experiences related to aspects of our lives such as race, religion, socioeconomic level, and political affiliation. As the name suggests, our Advisory Committee gives us their best advice on how to reach as many LGBT people as possible. Members of the Advisory Committee are from national, state, and local organizations dedicated to LGBT equality, improved access to health insurance and health care, and community building.

Sound like you? Great! Learn more about joining our Advisory Committee or hosting a regional event in your city. You’ll be glad you did.
