Rhode Island's open enrollment period for 2025 runs
November 1, 2024
through
January 31, 2025
Please be sure to enroll by DECEMBER 15, 2024 for coverage starting JANUARY 1, 2025. If you enroll after that, your coverage may not start until the first of the following month.
If you miss out on open enrollment, you may be locked out of coverage until next year, unless you have a Qualifying Life Event that makes you eligible for a Special Enrollment Period. Examples include getting married, moving states, having (or adopting!) a child, turning 26, or losing insurance coverage due to job loss, divorce or death of the insurance policyholder. If you believe you qualify or aren't sure, you can reach out to an enrollment assister for free help.
